Sevyn Streeter and Chris Brown link for “Don’t Kill The Fun”.
After working with Rich Harrison (producer behind Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” and Amerie’s “1 Thing” in defunct R&B quartet, RichGirl, Sevyn Streeter turned to songwriting, penning hits like Ariana Grande’s “The Way” and Chris Brown’s “Fine China”. With the release of her excellent, but criminally underrated debut EP, Call Me Crazy, But…, Sevyn had Brown return the favor with a feature, and it seems he’s still re-paying the singer for her various songwriting credits.
Streeter’s new single, “Don’t Kill The Fun” is yet another duet with Chris, but it’s still Sevyn’s show. The record features more of the complexly arranged production we heard on Crazy, as well as Streeter’s strong and versatile vocals. “Don’t Kill The Fun” was rush-released following an early leak today, but the official iTunes version is still planned to arrive on January 13th.
