In a male dominated industry, Mpho Maboi is one that shows that the industry is a dog-eat-dog world, and she’s here to take it all
Sports presenter Mpho Maboi has many talents up her sleeve and apart from having won Sports personality of the year, she’d like to be nominated in a different category.
Mpho Maboi is always pushing boundaries in the industry, her latest milestone replacing Robert Marawa sports slot with ‘The Ultimate Sports Show’ every Thursday on MetroFM, is a dream come true, after she had said in an interview with Daily Sun last year that she would love to host her own sports show one day.
“I would love to have my own radio show again, but focusing on sport,” she said
And now that it is said and done the sports anchor wants more, in a recent interview with the feather awards the sports presenter revealed that she would like to win Sports Personality of the year for the second time.
“In 2015 I actually won the sports personality of the year…thats a category I’d still love to win again” she said

The sports broadcaster who is married to soccer star Reneilwe Letsholonyane went on to share that she’d also like to see herself winning an award outside of sports, the presenter jokingly suggested: “I was told I’m fashionable”

Mpho Maboi who is one sports anchor to always advocate woman in sports says that recognition means much more to her than anything.
