Drake’s Dares “Scorpion” Singles Have Exceeded 1 Billion Spotify Streams
Drake recently calculations have confirmed that his upcoming album Scorpion has already reached a million streams on Spotify. Since the album has not yet been released, you may be wondering how that’s even possible. The data has reportedly been added up from the presumed singles on the album and, while none of the tracks have been confirmed for the project yet, some of the songs released during the lead-up are more likely than others to appear on Scorpion.
Chart Data has announced that the expected songs from the album have already tallied over 1 billion streams collectively, hardly surprising anybody due to the success of his recent hits. While the “Duppy Freestyle” and Lil Baby’s “Yes Indeed” are unlikely to appear on Scorpion, data calculated from the success of “God’s Plan,” “Nice For What” and the freshly released “I’m Upset” are the main indicators in Spotify’s calculations. While none of the aforementioned songs are guaranteed to appear on Scorpion, Drizzy would be in for quite the achievement if they do surface on the mysterious project.
With not much known regarding the details of the release, Drake’s camp has kept the album shrouded in secrecy without even a release date announced. The most information Drizzy has provided his fans is that it will drop in June and, with Kanye West releasing his next album this Friday, the possibility of Drake combatting him in sales is looking more realistic than ever after some of the lyrics in “Duppy.”
Tracks expected to be included on Drake's 'Scorpion' have now surpassed 1 billion total streams on Spotify.
