Drake & Nicki Minaj Set Personal Sales Records
Drake has a hit single on his hands with the Scary Hours cut “God’s Plan” and now he’s become the first solo male artist to ever have two separate ten-week number one tracks.
Drizzy first reached ten weeks on top of Billboard’s charts with 2016’s “One Dance” and has struck gold again with “God’s Plan” due in part to its amazing music video featuring the OVO Sound ringleader making various charitable donations.
Drake is also hunting for another top single with his appearance on BlocBoy JB’s “Look Alive,” which made the jump this week from 11th to 6th on the Billboard Top 100.
Nicki Minaj is coming off an appearance in Mercedes-Benz’s latest commercial and has set a new personal sales record now that all of her albums have moved over five million copies each worldwide. The “She For Keeps” rapper is also rumored to be working on a follow up to 2014’s The Pinkprint although little information is currently available.
Congratulations to both Drake and Nicki Minaj on their accomplishments.
